Arizona brings up a corner to give some depth in the defensive backfield.
The Arizona Cardinals finished off the roster moves they were anticipated to make. As expected, safety Chris Clemons was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's 42-17 won over the Detroit Lions. To replace him on the roster, the Cardinals elevated cornerback Cariel Brooks from the practice squad.
Brooks (5-10, 200) signed with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Adams State. After being released in the team's final roster cut on September 5, Brooks was re-signed to the practice squad the following day where he has spent the first five weeks of the season.
