NFL training camps begin next week and so early record projections for each team in the league are coming out.
The Arizona Cardinals could be in for a long 2018, according to some of them.
USA TODAY Sports' Nate Davis has Arizona going 7-9 in his record projections for 2018, finishing tied for second in the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers.
He has the Los Angeles Rams winning the division at 12-4 and the Seattle Seahawks finishing last in the division at 4-12.
Of the Cardinals, Davis writes: "If they get steady play from Sam Bradford (or rookie Josh Rosen), the Cards could really surprise given the return of David Johnson and play of a defense that doesn't get sufficient credit.
