NFL discussing potential for 18-game NFL season

The NFL is discussing adding another regular season game, meaning that this will get the regular season to 18 total games.

The current NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement runs through 2030, meaning the league cannot unilaterally make the move, but it can be initiated and negotiated with the NFLPA.

That would likely push the Super Bowl back another week, potentially lining up with President’s Day, from SB Nation.

Something Goodell also highlighted back in April.
