Urban’s list of reasons for Arizona not dealing Fitzgerald include:
- Fitzgerald is the face of the franchise
- He’s also their best receiver
- It’s unlikely the Cardinals would be able to get enough compensation for Fitzgerald to make worth it.
- Urban fully expects Fitzgerald to finish out his career in Arizona.
- The Cardinals are still technically in the mix for a playoff spot at 3-4, even though they lost QB Carson Palmer for the next eight weeks.
