The adjustment to this unusual offseason has not been quite as drastic for Robert Alford.
The Cardinals cornerback spent 2019 sidelined, after a season-ending leg injury during training camp. It would have been his first year playing for Arizona, after spending his first six years in the league with the Falcons. Instead, with physical limitations, he focused on learning the playbook, watching film and being ready for whenever he could take the field. In a way, it helped him for this spring.
"The last year when I was out, I still treated it like I was actually going into a game setting each and every weekend and playing," he said.
