The moment the Arizona Cardinals selected UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen with the 10th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, many knew it was a great selection. Despite the reports that have arisen this week that Rosen wasn’t the Cardinals first choice doesn’t change the fact Rosen is already close to NFL ready.
The fact that it would be reported that Rosen was not the Cardinals first choice because a deal for Josh Allen fell through should be inconsequential. Rosen is still closer to being ready to take the field than the other selections ahead of him.
That also doesn’t mean throw him out there if Sam Bradford and/or Mike Glennon struggle.
