Cardinals insider Bob McManaman offers a quick recap from Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and the Falcons.
Quick recap: The Falcons converted three turnovers by Josh Rosen into touchdowns, including a 41-yard interception return by Deion Jones, and Atlanta scored 40 unanswered points at one point to throttle the Cardinals 40-14 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.
The first-quarter interception return for a touchdown by Jones, which came after a deflection at the line of scrimmage by Vic Beasley, was the fourth pick-six against the rookie Rosen this season.
The Falcons entered the game with the NFL’s worst rushing attack, but gashed the Cardinals for a season-high 215 yards behind Tevin Coleman, who finished with 11 carries for a career-high 145 yards, including a career-long 65-yard run in the first quarter and a 43-yard touchdown run in the third.
