Instant replay: Cardinals' offense fails to show up in lackluster loss to Lions

Cardinals insider Bob McManaman offers a quick recap from Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and the Lions.

Quick recap: After finally beating a team not named the 49ers – the Packers – and winning at a place where they hadn’t won since 1949 – Lambeau Field – the Cardinals could do next to nothing on Sunday against a team they’ve beaten eight times in a row at home and fell to the Detroit Lions, 17-3, at State Farm Stadium.

Darius Slay intercepted Cardinals rookie quarterback Josh Rosen and returned it 67 yards for a third-quarter touchdown and running back Zach Zenner helped seal the victory during a fourth-quarter scoring drive by rushing seven times for 42 yards, including an insurance touchdown with 4:05 left to play, as the Lions won for just the second time in their last seven games.
