The Arizona Cardinals were excited about the future of Butler and what he could bring, maybe in some situation in 2019 even.
However, for the most part this was going to be very much a learning season for Butler.
Now, with a fracture of the hand there is a good chance he moves to the injured reserve list.
That is not necessarily a bad thing.
First off, I feel awful for Butler. He is a great kid, who was working incredibly hard and had made strides, but had many more to go to really impact the game.
