When Kliff Kingsbury was asked over the weekend what he likes best so far about being an NFL head coach, the Cardinals’ new man in charge said it was the relationships he’s starting to build with some of the team’s veteran players.
“Just being able to pick their brains and see how they operate, see how the treat people,” Kingsbury said. “It’s been a unique experience for me.”
One of those players is defensive tackle Corey Peters, one of the most underrated players on the entire team in terms of durability and consistency who just happens to also be one of its most respected and trusted leaders both on the field and off.
