Today i watched the first two episodes of HBO’s Hard Knocks’ Off-Season with the New York Giants. Episode 2 provided a fascinating inside look at the Giants’ meetings with Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze. Then it was interesting to see the Giants’ GMs and coaches react to Xavier Worthy’s 4.21 record breaking 40 time.
When the Giants interviewed MHJ, the Giants’ receivers’ coach Mike Groh, sitting next to his highly amused GM Joe Schoen tried to get Marvin to admit that his “young” QB threw him a “sh*^” pass —- which had Schoen cracking up —- and yet —- Marvin had the grace to say that he doesn’t talk go and to his QBs (about poor passes) and that instead he could have made a stronger attempt to catch the ball.
