Hakeem Butler spent the last few months listening to other people dissect his skills and abilities. Now, the wide receiver gets to define himself, starting with his speed.
“Blazing. Sonic,” he said. “Being in the desert, a roadrunner.”
He says he was once unofficially clocked running the 40 in 4.35 seconds, and he wants us all to know about it.
"Make sure we get that out that," he told reporters, laughing.
A fourth-round pick out of Iowa State, Butler just wrapped up rookie minicamp with the Cardinals. Last season, as a redshirt junior, Butler caught 60 passes for 1,318 yards and nine touchdowns.
