It appears that the New York Jets and Haason Reddick remain at an impasse with regard to their signing him to a new contract.
The Jets were disappointed to lose edge rusher 3rd year edge Jermaine Johnson (7.5 sacks in 2023) for the season (Achilles tear), but their pass rush is currently tied for 2nd in the NFL with 14 sacks —- and 2nd year edge Will McDonald IV is 2nd in the NFL with 5 sacks, 1.5 behind the Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson.
