His team has played well for more than a month, but Diamondbacks General Manager Mike Hazen doesn’t feel validation – or, at least, he isn’t ready to admit it. He took his club down an offseason path that was not met with universal approval. But, so far, his bets are paying off.
“When you take certain risks, you want to see those risks play out,” Hazen said. “They don’t always play out, but you want to see how they play out.
