Game Day: Tampa makes it close, but Cardinals hang on to win Peterson's debut, 38-33

Turning point – Tuesday, when the Cardinals traded a conditional 6th round pick in the 2018 draft for running back Adrian Peterson.

Peterson rushed for 134 yards on 26 carries and scored two touchdowns. The threat of the run opened the passing game for the Cardinals, and he result was a 38-33 victory over the Bucs that evened the Cardinals record at 3-3.

The Cardinals also received a boost for the return of left tackle D.J. Humphries and left guard Alex Boone from injuries. That allowed Earl Watford to move from left guard to right guard.
