Calais Campbell hadn’t made much noise in Sunday’s game against his former team until the fourth quarter, when he scooped up a fumble by Blaine Gabbert and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown.
With the extra point from Josh Lambo, the Jaguars have their first lead of the game, 17-16, with 12:10 left to play.
Paul Posluszny caused the fumble and Campbell reached down, picked it up and rumbled into the end zone before he could be tackled.
Bortles scores on bootleg
Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles scored on a 1-yard bootleg in which he faked out the Cardinals’ entire seven-man defensive front and with the extra points, Jacksonville has pulled to within 16-10 with 7:33 left in the third quarter.
