Game Day: Cardinals activate ex-ASU star D.J. Foster for game

Related Topics: Blaine Gabbert, Drew Stanton

HOUSTON – Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton is active for today’s game against the Texans and will back up Blaine Gabbert.

Stanton suffered a sprained knee a week ago and was listed as questionable all week.

Quarterback Matt Barkley is inactive.

In a surprise move, running back Andre Ellington is inactive and D.J. Foster is active for the first time since signing on Sept. 12. Ellington was not on the injury report this week, so it appears he is a healthy scratch.
The Cardinals other inactive players are: receiver Chad Williams, safety Harlan Miller, linebacker Bryson Albright, center Mas Tuerk and defensive tackle Corey Peters.
