According to Arizona Sports Insider John Gambadoro, the Arizona Cardinals are close to signing right Jordan Mills. Current Cardinal right Marcus Gilbert, who was acquired via a trade with the Steelers last March, suffered an undisclosed knee injury last Thursday in practice.
Following the injury, the Cardinals had to scramble to get recently acquired waiver pick Justin Murray up to speed prior to Sunday’s game against Detroit. Murray, not surprisingly, struggled early on against the Lions but settled in as the game progressed. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury has already ruled out Gilbert this week against the Baltimore Ravens.
