Former NFL quarterback J.P. Losman is being considered for a coaching position on Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s staff, according to a report.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Friday that Losman, 37, has interviewed with the Cardinals but the report didn’t specify about exactly what Losman would do if he was hired to Kingsbury’s offensive staff.
Earlier this week, the Cardinals announced the hiring of longtime NFL assistant Tom Clements as passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Clements essentially becomes the team’s offensive coordinator without the title.
Losman, who played eight seasons in the NFL after being drafting by the Bills in the first round of 2004 draft, joined Dabo Swinney’s coaching staff at Clemson as an intern in 2017.
