It’s always tough to lose one of your own, and that is what the Arizona Cardinals are dealing with now.
Former Cardinals safety Kwamie Lassiter has passed away at the age of 49.
Lassiter was one of the bright spots in the 90’s, where there were not many.
An undrafted free agent out of Kansas, Lassiter was a 26-year old NFL rookie.
Those long odds didn’t matter, as he carved out a nine year NFL career, including four consecutive years as a 16-game starter for the Cardinals.
Lassiter would finish out his starting career in San Diego with the Chargers, starting 10 games.
