Former Arizona Cardinals player Jimmy Legree has traded in his NFL uniform for a camouflage one.
He has enlisted in the U.S. Army.
Legree, 28, who played with the Cardinals in 2014 and 2015, talked about his decision to enter the Army on Fox & Friends over the weekend.
"Just growing up as a kid watching movies, watching military movies, it always seemed like something I wanted to do," said Legree, who joined the show via video from Fort Sill, Okla., where he started basic training in December. "I always wanted to be a part of that military family.
