In his first public comments since being fired after just one season as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, Steve Wilks said he has no hard feelings toward the organization and that although he wishes he would have had more time in Arizona, acknowledged that he simply didn’t win enough games.
The Cardinals went 3-13, finishing with the worst record in the NFL this past season under Wilks, who on Thursday was formally introduced as the new defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.
“That’s not my call,” Wilks said when asked if he felt he deserved more time with the Cardinals.
