Let’s stop calling Kyler Murray "short."
The average height of an adult male in the U.S. is 5-foot-9. So, at 5-foot-10, the Cardinals No. 1 overall pick is more than likely taller than anyone reading these words. *
That’s a bad comparison, of course. Murray isn’t the average adult male in the U.S. He's an NFL starting quarterback, which, by definition, makes him elite.
It also makes him short, I guess.
Murray is going to be the shortest starting quarterback in the NFL this year.
At 5-10, he’s shorter than the average of 6-2 ½ by enough to notice if Murray and the proverbial "average NFL starting quarterback" were standing next to each other having a chat.
