The Cardinals’ struggles in the passing game don’t fall solely upon the shoulder pads of receiver Michael Floyd, but a large part of the story can be told through his statistics and performance through three games.
Floyd’s been targeted 24 times, yet has only nine receptions, 134 yards and one touchdown.
Much has been made of quarterback Carson Palmer and his receivers “not being on the same page,” and it’s happened with Floyd in each game.
Last week in Buffalo, for instance, Palmer thought Floyd would go in front of a defender, not behind. The result was one of four interceptions.
