Two former part-time starters for the Cardinals agreed to terms with other teams on Saturday.
Offensive linemen Earl Watford is expected to sign a two-year, $6 million contract with the Jaguars, according to the NFL Network and NFL.com. Tight end Darren Fells is signing a 1-year, $1.5 million deal with the Lions, according to a source.
A fourth-round pick in 2013, Watford started 10 games last season, filling in at right guard and right tackle.
Watford is strong, smart and athletic, but he was inconsistent in the Cardinals’ view. John Wetzel, who passed Watford on the depth chart, returns for 2017, and two draft picks from 2016, Cole Toner and Evan Boehm, also are expected to contend for playing time at right guard.
