The Arizona Cardinals announced a roster move on Monday, re-signing a player who hasn't been terribly popular in his time with the team. Punter Drew Butler signed a contract and will at least be in the mix for the punting job in 2016. He was due to become a restricted free agent. The terms of the contract were not disclosed, but it likely is a one-year deal worth somewhere less than $1 million.

Butler (6-1, 217) punted in 31 regular season games for the Cardinals the past two seasons after joining the team in September of 2014.
