Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks and new strong safety D.J. Swearinger speak to the media. Arizona Republic
D.J. Swearinger plays the game with a nasty streak. When he closes in on a ball carrier, the hard-hitting safety doesn’t ease up and never backs down. He’s always full throttle and once he’s ready to strike, he’s ready to unleash a fury of damage.
The same can be said for his mouth at times.
It’s gotten him in hot water before and earlier this week, it cost him his job as the Washington Redskins’ starting strong safety.
