Dependable Bradley Sowell Ready If Needed

That could be the case with Sowell, as he practiced with the first unit at right tackle for the second straight day on Tuesday. While first-round pick D.J. Humphries also mans the position, Sowell is looking like the player coach Bruce Arians will turn to if starter Bobby Massie is unavailable for a stretch of the regular season.

Sowell started at left tackle for 12 games in 2013 after the Cardinals traded Levi Brown and contributed on special teams last year. He’s never been penciled in as a key part of the core over the past three years, but has still proven to be a valuable piece.
