Trade rumors and speculation surrounded Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson during much of the 2019 season.
They haven't quieted during the offseason.
Former Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer might have added to them Friday when he said that Johnson, his former teammate, might need a fresh start to get his career rolling again.
Johnson played sparingly done the stretch for the Cardinals last season as Arizona primarily went with Kenyan Drake, whom the team acquired in a trade with the Miami Dolphins during the season.
