The Arizona Cardinals have a unique talent in David Johnson at the running back position, and his fantastic game over the San Francisco 49ers showed just what he can do.
In fact, his game against the 49ers was so impressive that he was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Johnson finished the game with 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns and chipped in 28 yards receiving on three catches to push his total yards from scrimmage to 185 on the day.
Johnson has set a franchise record in yards from scrimmage at 695 (457 rushing yards and 238 receiving yards) in the first five games and his 457 rushing yards in the teams first five games is the most since Ottis Anderson in 1980 (who had 492).
