There seems to be zero chance that David Johnson is the NFL MVP, no matter how much his play warrants it. He is, at least in this NFL season, the best player on the field every time he steps on it. He has done more than enough to warrant the mantle.
Yet, with the Cardinals guaranteed a losing season, there is no chance that Johnson is getting that MVP he is so deserving of.
However, the NFL does acknowledge the greatness of individuals with their offensive and defensive players of the year awards.
While there is plenty of great competition, it would be a travesty to see Johnson not win the NFL Offensive Player of the year.
