Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson has become the first player in NFL history to start a season with 14 straight games with 100 or more total yards. David Johnson entered the record books with a 5-yard run with 11:06 left in the fourth quarter. During Coach Bruce Arians pre-game press conference he spoke on the possibility of David Johnson breaking the record.
“That’s elite company, nobody,” “That speaks for itself, really. The people that he’s being mentioned with are Hall of Fame guys, so for a second-year player, I think it’s outstanding.”
Johnson’s stunning performance is also leaving its mark on the Cardinals franchise.
