Current and Potential Quarterbacks Behind Carson Palmer

Carson Palmer has been the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals since 2013. Since acquiring the quarterback from the Oakland Raiders, he has completed over 63% of his passes for 14,804 yards and 96 touchdowns. His 35-17-1 regular season record with the Arizona Cardinals is outstanding, in addition to his 1-1 playoff record.

Though he is signed through 2018, there is no guarantee that the 14-year veteran will return after the 2017 season. He is entering his 15th season and will be turning 38 years old this December. Palmer started his career sitting behind Jon Kitna, who mentored him when he was drafted 1st Overall in 2003 by the Cincinnati Bengals.
