Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer missed a second consecutive day of practice on Thursday.
The team's injury report released in the afternoon said Palmer was limited with a hamstring injury.
During the brief portion open to reporters, Palmer wore a ball cap, not a helmet, and tossed the ball lightly.
Typically, he reports to practice with his helmet and warms up with the other quarterbacks.
It’s a curious turn of events for Palmer, a 14-year veteran, who missed the 49ers game on Oct. 6 with a concussion.
After Monday night's game against the Jets, coach Bruce Arians said the time off was beneficial to Palmer, whose arm strength appeared to be better than at any time this season.
