There were no surprises among the 23 personnel moves the Cardinals made on Saturday to reach the roster limit of 53 by the NFL deadline.
Among the departed at the two young quarterbacks who competed for the No. 3 job through the summer: Logan Thomas and Phillip Sims.
That roster spot was filled on Friday when the Cardinals traded with the Eagles for quarterback Matt Barkley.
On Saturday, the NFL announced that starting right offensive tackle Bobby Massie is suspended for the first two games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Massie's original suspension was three games, so it apparently was reduced by a game under appeal.
