Cardinals running back David Johnson has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Johnson gained 175 yards from scrimmage in the 31-23 victory over Washington last Sunday. Johnson also won for his performance against the 49ers in week five.
Johnson is the first Cardinals player since Kurt Warner in 2009 to be named offensive player of the week twice in the same season.
Johnson has gained at least 100 yards from scrimmage in all 12 games this season. Running back Edgerrin James is the only other player in NFL history with at least 100 yards from scrimmage in his team’s first 12 games.
