A year after only being sacked 24 times, Carson Palmer is on track to be sacked twice that many times in 2016. He’s been dropped nine times so far, including five times in last Sunday’s 33-18 loss at the Buffalo Bills.
That has to change in a hurry, and it starts up front with the offensive line, which may be without starting right guard Evan Mathis for a second consecutive week because of a turf-toe injury.
“We’ve got to do a better job of handling some of the games as far as twists and things of that nature,” offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin said Thursday.
