A.Q. Shipley has never felt so strong and yet so weak. He had just strolled into the Cardinals’ locker room after repeatedly squatting 450 pounds in the weight room during his continuing rehab from a major knee injury, and then his legs almost turned into jelly as he surveyed all the missing bodies up and down the team’s offensive line.
“This year has been very humbling, being able to sit out a year,” Shipley said. “It’s been the most miserable year for me being able to sit back and just kind of watch and not being able to help the guys and just watch the struggles they’ve gone through.
