Patrick Peterson said he’s never covered a wide receiver as speedy fast as the Chiefs’ tiny human rocket known as Tyreek Hill. The Cardinals’ star cornerback has heard plenty of the same fast-talking trash talk Hill was spewing last Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium, though.
That’s because Peterson isn’t afraid to give it right back to an opponent. And Hill and Peterson playfully went at it throughout Kansas City’s 26-14 victory.
Hill, who stole the show with seven receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns – including 99 yards from scrimmage in the first quarter alone – said he was inspired by trying to get the better out of the best corner he’s faced in his young, three-year NFL career.
