Wetzel is taking over at left tackle, a more natural position for him, but it’s not a temporary role. Jared Veldheer suffered a torn triceps against the Panthers on Oct. 30 and is out for the season so, barring injury or poor performance, Wetzel is the starter for the rest of the season.
