Friday is Steve Wilks 249th day as Cardinals coach. For 246 of those days, I’ve been just as impressed with Wilks as team President Michael Bidwill and General Manager Steve Keim were when they hired him.
Wilks is smart, organized and a charismatic leader.
On those other three days — the past three Sundays — I’ve had doubts.
On those days, game days, the Cardinals have been dumb, disorganized and rudderless.
Teams often take on the personality of their head coach, but so far the Cardinals have been the antithesis of what I think I know about Wilks.
