Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim found little fault in the way his team played in its 31-23 victory over Washington on Sunday.
In his weekly segment with Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, Keim raved about quarterback Carson Palmer, gushed about running back David Johnson, lauded defensive tackle Calais Campbell and added that left tackle D.J. Humphries had an “exceptional” game.
The one area that didn’t impress Keim was punting. Drew Butler had a net average of 34 yards, and while he did have a 50-yarder punt, he also had a 28-yarder that contributed to Washington scoring a field goal.
