On Saturday night, the Cardinals starters made their first preseason game look like one of their typical practices over the last two weeks.
And that’s a good thing.
Quarterback Carson Palmer, who has put the ball wherever he wanted in practices, did it against the Chiefs at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Safety Tyrann Mathieu, who has picked off passes throughout camp, ended the Chiefs first possession with an interception.

The only thing missing Saturday night was coach Bruce Arians deciding to end the outing 15 minutes or so early, as he routinely has done in camp.
