Another day, another roster update for the Arizona Cardinals. Safety and special teams guru Chris Banjo is now an Arizona Cardinals player.
Banjo, recently of the New Orleans Saints, is someone that can certainly help this Cardinals team but by how much remains to be seen. He’s never been a starter in the league as a safety.
However what they do get is a quality backup and a quality special teams player. His experience of being on a playoff team should help the younger players on the roster.
Last season with the Saints, he played in all 16 games and had 2 interceptions.
