A day after learning veteran right tackle Marcus Gilbert had decided to opt out of the 2020 season, the Cardinals on Wednesday brought in some secondary depth by signing free-agent offensive lineman Koda Martin to a one-year deal.
Martin, 24, was released by the Chargers this past weekend after joining the team in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. Martin, who is 6-7, 304 pounds, has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game. He played tackle in college, where he attended both Texas A&M and Syracuse, but he also was used at guard upon joining the Chargers.
