The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DTs David Moala and Peli Anau to contracts and waived CB Elie Bouka (ankle) with an injury settlement.
Moala, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in May of last year. However, he was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
This is his first opportunity with an NFL team since being released by Denver.
During his college career at Utah State, Moala recorded 58 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, and two pass defenses.
