Cardinals' run game has run away from home

The Cardinals had the option of taking Monday off, so the offensive linemen might not have heard coach Bruce Arians’ diagnosis of what’s been wrong with the run game the past few weeks.

“Getting their ass kicked up front,” Arians said during a news conference to start the week.

Players reported to work on Tuesday, and for the offensive line, the message had not softened.

“They told us today,” center Lyle Sendlein said with a wry smile.

The Cardinals rushed 32 times for 67 yards in their past two games. The regular-season finale against Seattle (13 for 27) was easy to dismiss, since the game had no impact on the Cardinals' playoff positioning.
