Cardinals insider Bob McManaman hands out his position-by-position grades for the Cardinals following their game Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. Observations were made on immediate available information.
PASSING OFFENSE D
You’d think for a team that throws the ball 50 times and completed 31 pass attempts would finish with a lot more yardage and points than the Cardinals could muster on Saturday. For all that work, Kyler Murray only threw for 247 yards and he didn’t have a touchdown pass. Credit the 49ers’ defense all you want — they deserve it — but the Cardinals needed to open things up more, offensively, and take more shots instead of settling for shorter completions.
