The Cardinals’ quarterback room has a little more room heading into next week’s mandatory minicamp.
With the team wrapping up the summer’s organized team activities Friday, there were also three players released – including Zac Dysert, one of five quarterbacks on the roster.
Undrafted rookie safeties Drico Johnson and Cyril Noland-Lewis were also cut.
Dysert first came to the Cardinals at the outset of the regular season last year, winning a battle with Aaron Murray for a place on the team’s practice squad. He was elevated to the 53-man roster in December, and brought back as an exclusive rights free agent.
