The Cardinals released Max Tuerk on Thursday. The center was signed off the Chargers’ practice squad last November when Daniel Munyer was placed on injured reserve with a toe injury.
Tuerk saw action in the Week 16 game against the Giants. The Cardinals return incumbent starting center A.Q. Shipley, with former fourth-round pick Evan Boehm aiming to push him for the job this offseason.
Munyer was re-signed to a one-year contract in March and Josh Allen is the other center on the roster.
